How to get a Library Card

To get a Dade County Library Card:

  1. Bring in a Photo ID of yourself.
  2. Bring in a bill or piece of mail with your current address within Dade County, Missouri.
  3. Fill out the patron information card. 

  • If you reside within the Dade County Library tax district a library card is free.
  • Replacement cost for lost cards is $0.50.
  • All library cards expire annually and must renewed in person to update current address and phone number.
  • Those who live outside of the Dade County Library tax district (outside of Dade County or within the city limits of Lockwood, MO) a library card will be $25 per year.
